The scientist

Long day today. After staying up real late to get my design project done and ready for "show", I had totally been mentally drained. I wasnt really ready for my 11 hour day on campus today. Alas, the last 11 hour day of this semester. 6 days of school left. However, today I learnt why it was so important for me to actually be mentally active and responsive at work. I quite possibly got fired cos I didnt pay attention to a small detail, which ended up costing our university close to a thousand bucks. Not much money for a big institution such as ours, but quite a large sum of money to be wasted on something trivial, that I had forgotten to check. I felt like a complete idiot, cos I'm the one whos always said, if you wanna do something, do it perfect, or dont attempt it at all. But my boss said it was cool, and that it happens to the best of us. Comforting. I spent the rest of my time at work, listening to coldplay and finishing up what had been bottled up at work the past coupla days.

I have to admit, that Chris Martin from coldplay is an absolute genius when it comes to words. Its so sad, that after all these love songs, he proposed to Gweneth Palthrow over the fuckin phone.
